Northside Hospital Hosts Community Blood Drives Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, according to the American Red Cross. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day. In response to this ongoing need, Northside Hospital hosts community blood drives throughout the year at each of its hospitals in Atlanta, Forsyth and Cherokee. Upcoming blood drives include: Friday, March 26, 2010 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Northside Hospital 980 Doctors’ Centre, Ground Floor, Classroom B 980 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta Friday, March 26, 2010 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Northside Hospital-Forsyth, Bennett Education Center 1400 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming Wednesday, March 31, 2010 2:30-7:30 p.m. Northside Hospital-Cherokee, Education Building 201 Hospital Road, Canton Friday, April 23, 2010 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Northside Hospital 980 Doctors’ Centre, Ground Floor, Classroom B 980 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta All donors will receive a free T-shirt and free parking.
