Swimming with Sharks

No, it is not a metaphor of some kind. It is actually what I will be doing this Thursday. I am soooooooo excited! Recently, I had the opportunity to meet Rob Arnold who is the owner of Atlanta Scuba. He is THE MAN! This past weekend, Rob got me certified as a scuba diver and it is one of the coolest things I have ever done.
If you have never done it, you have to! There is no greater peace than you will feel that you feel being below the water. No cell phones, emails, screaming kids, no anything except peace. I love it.
So since I am certified now to be a scuba diver, I will be going to swim with the whale sharks and all the other sharks at the Georgia Aquarium this Thursday. I'm not gonna lie, it is a little frightening but I have been there before and checked out the planet shark exhibit and it shows you that there is pretty much nothing to be afraid of. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning than you do being killed by a shark.
So, long story short, I will be swimming with giant whale sharks and while I am a little bit scared but a ton excited! Yay!!!!
