 Stone Mountain Village Christmas Celebration
November 27th 6:00-8:30
The City of Stone Mountain will be holding its annual Stone Mountain Village Christmas Celebration on Thursday, November 27 2009. The celebration, which takes place the day after Thanksgiving every year will be held on Main Street in downtown Stone Mountain from 6 pm until 8:30 pm. The evening will kick off at 6:00 with live Christmas music all night from The Ruby Reds Band, an arts and crafts show, holiday shopping with the downtown merchants, marshmallow roasting, and the letter writing station. Santa will arrive on his sleigh at 6:30 pm and will visit with children until he lights the Stone Mountain Christmas tree at 8 pm. The celebration will end with the fantastic fireworks finale at 8:15. There will be something for everyone, so be sure to join us the day after Thanksgiving for the 2009 Stone Mountain Village Christmas Celebration.
- Arts and Crafts: 4-8:30
- Santa’s Entrance: 6:30
- Music, letter writing, marshmallow roasting 6-8:15
- Lighting of the tree, and fireworks 8:15
