Darik – who plays Atlanta’s hottest music each weeknight from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight on Star 94 – is living his dream job.

Born in Houston and raised in Iowa, Darik ignored his parents’ pleas to become a lawyer and got his first radio gig at 21 in Dubuque, IA. He went on to work at other stations in Davenport, IA, Colorado Springs and Denver before coming to Star 94.

In his down time, Darik loves beach vacations, reading mountains of self-help books and playing “pop psychologist” for his friends. He’s also a competitive ballroom dancer, learning many of his moves by watching Dancing with the Stars hundreds of times!
