I think Disney will be.is going to be the Death of her career. Why? Because people will not let her move on, they want her to stay as Hanna Montana. Sorry folks she is not going to always be sining about rainbows and butterflies.
Look at Britney and Christina, more Christina. To break the Disney modle she had to push her image to the limit and then back off.
People keep saying, oh I do not want my child seeing what she is wearing. OK, she is a birdwoman. Now that you are over the shock that she has wings, look at what she is wearing... really look at it. How many of you watch figure skating? Gymnastics? Ok, take those costumes and add a set of wings, some ribbon around the leg, and make-up (lots of make-up) and there you go.
She is an artist and for years she has had to eat, sleep and crap the way Disney wanted her to. Now she has dumped Hanna, and move on. Deal.
Oh one more thing, I am not a fan of her, I just hate parents/people that think that they can censor artist... people news flash we built this world the way it is. 12 years having babies or looking like street walkers are not the products of the music, the are the caused of the musis. Think about how one dressed in the 80 -90's other than men's shorts everything got smaller...

I think people need to realize she is trying to move away from the Hannah Montanna persona and give her a little room to do so ... yeah, the video is a little out there, but I've seen much worse.

Omg!!!!! Will not be letting my daughter's watch this viedo. Understand that she wants to get out ofrom under the Hannah thing but think about your younger fans that have been following you, She should take it alittle slower!!! Touch urself alittle much dont you think???

Wow! Okay I understand that she's trying to transition from being Hanna Montana but yeah little out there Smiley Miley. I'm a fan but would hate to see her go out like Lindsey or Britney.

Wow, This Is The First Time I Have Seen This Video And As A Mom I Can Say That There Is A Thin Line Between Role Model And Entertainer. My girls listen to her music,buy her clothing line and watch her shows just like they do other disney stars, but it stops there. The video was a very good video, out there yes, but hey, she isn't disney anymore, she has to step into the industry the way it is and as long as she does not comp her morals for it then more power to her. As far as the influence that this type of thing has on a child, if you are a good parent then you should be your child's role model and set the standards!

I think this video and song would have been better suited for JLo or Madonna. Miley is too young and does not have the persona for this. It is gross to watch her rub on herself. Bad move for her career.
