The Holiday's are HERE...sort of?

It's official...the Holidays are here. Ok, well maybe not reallllly...but in my mind, yes! And why is that you ask? Well when Macy's PINK PIG opens up, I feel like it's time to get your Holiday Cheer on! :o)
So we spent a good couple of days at Scottish Rite Hospital for the STAR 94 CARES FOR KIDS RADIOTHON. It was an emotionally filled time and we met so many wonderful kids and families. Lily and I got to spend some time with a sweet little baby named Eric who had been in the hospital for a few days. He is soooo cute and we got him to smile and that felt like a million dollars. Also, remember sweet Adam from last year? His dad volunteered on the phone banks and gave us the update that Adam seems to be doing well. That made me super happy! Thank you to ...

LOTS goin' on with STAR 94...
Whatcha doin this Thursday night? If you are single then you should be at Atlantic Station for our Dating In The Dark at the AWESOME exhibit DIALOG IN THE DARK. This exhibit was life-changing. You get to experience life as if you were visually impaired. So cool! We put a twist on it...try actually getting to know someone...in the dark. Hmmmm...Deets at Dating In The Dark

Also, the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker is coming to the Fabulous Fox Theater Dec 11th-27th. Tickets are as low as $20 and you can get them at The Atlanta Ballet

What's upppppp?!
Ugh! I am so OVA the rain! Rain, rain, go away! I know it's Wednesday but I am still thinking about what a wonderful time I had this past weekend in Savannah for Molly and Brent's wedding. It was such a lovely event and Molly looked like she stepped off the pages of Modern Bride magazine. Friends and family getting together to celebrate their love...well it was just nice. I do love that city! Eric-40 and I walked all along River Street and picked up some fun candy to take home to Lily. You know they even had candy flavored crickets but of course I wouldn't even touch those. Yucko! Speaking of Lily Bug, boy did I miss her! It's the first time in a long time that I have been away from her for more than a whole weekend so that was soooo weird being gone. Nice ...

Happy November!
Can you believe it is November already? Wow time flies! How was your Halloween? Mine might have been one of the best ever! The best part of Halloween is being around children and experiencing Halloween through their eyes! We did pumpkin carving with our friends Molly Pockets and her fiance Brent. So much fun! Lily drew all of the faces on the pumpkins. It was sweet watching her pumpkin vision. I baked sunflower seeds for the first time ever and they actually came out pretty good. I felt all Betty Crocker-like! We all dressed up like 50's people for Halloween and it was so much fun. We then hit up the neighborhoods for some Trick or Treating. We scored some majorly yummy chocolate! ...

Happy Halloween!
I cannot WAIT for Halloween!!! Lily is super excited to go trick or treating this weekend. She did a little pre-trick or treating at Daddy's last weekend and had so much fun! She dressed up as Ariel the Mermaid because she loves the Disney princesses and Daddy said she got some fun candy too. This weekend she's going to be a 50's girl and we are spending time trick or treating with her friends Luke and Josh. I hope she scores some Kit Kats...for her of course! ;o)
