Helllooooooooooooooooooooo!
How is everyone? We had an AWESOME Valentine's Day weekend at my parents house in New Bern, NC. As you know if you ever read my blog, I lovvvvvve my parents and spending the weekend with them was AWESOME!! They did the greatest thing too. My mom told us that a neighbor was coming over to visit for V-Day so all of a sudden my mom is letting four men in red vests into the house and they start SINGING Valentine songs to me, Eric-40 and Lily. I of course, being the sappy dork that I am start boo hoo-ing cus I was so surprised and that my parents did this for us just melted my heart.
Oh and the snow in NC. We had just as much, if not more, than we did here in Atlanta. We all played in the snow and it was SOOO much fun!! ...

2-10-2010 That just looks cool for some reason. LOL Yes, it is the little things in life that make me happy.
Soooo Valentine's Day is jussssst around the corner and I am excited because we are going to see my parents in North Carolina for the weekend since it's President's weekend too. My daddy has been so very sick lately and thankfully my boyfriend is super wonderful and he knows nothing would make me happier than being able to go visit him for the weekend. Actually both mom and dad have been out of sorts and we just really want to spend time with them AND of course Lily can't wait to see Grandma and Pap Pap. It's our first Valentine's Day together and 40 said the greatest thing to me, that we will have many more Valentine's together so we should do what is the most important thing right ...

Well hello there!
Happy February! Can you believe January has already come and gone?! Thank Goodness. Because I have to honestly say that so far this year has really STUNK so I am pretty happy that January has come and gone! Not a good way to start off the New Year, that's for sure! The only saving grace this month has been that I have a beautiful daughter who fills my heart every day, a wonderful man who is full of honesty, integrity and love and a few close friends who provide the same. It is funny how the older you get the fewer people you find that have those qualities...honesty and integrity. So when you find those people, those friends, you want to hold them close and cherish them forever. Thank goodness for those few in my life who do have those wonderful traits.

SAG Saturday in LA

Yahhhh so listen to this day. Eric and I are up and Adam early because we are off to get our hair and make-up done (well no make-up for him, lol) and then we get mani-pedi's together. Yes, I made him do this because I told him it would change his life. That and he works so hard that I thought it would be really nice and relaxing for him. hee hee. I never get mani's and pedi's...just never have the time, so I am reallllly looking forward to this today. Then we come back here to our Pretty Woman Hotel room to change into our SAG clothes. :o) And then off to the red carpet. I cannot wait to see celebrities!!! SAG rehearsal day

Sooooo we just left the SAG Awards rehearsals. That was super fun! TNT took us in a limo from our Pretty Woman hotel to the Shrine Auditorium where we got to watch all of the behind-the-scenes stuff happen. We saw Anna Kendrick from Twilight and Up In The Air who was super sweet. She's a presenter tomorrow night at the Awards and we chatted with her for a few. Then Betty White came in and practiced her acceptance speech for her lifetime achievement award that Sandra Bullock will be presenting to her tomorrow night. After Betty did her practice thing, we chatted with her for a few minutes too. She turned 88 last week so the SAG people brought out a big ol' birthday cake for her and we all got a piece. So yumms!
