Make An iPod Touch Safe For Your Kids
If it seems that every one of your kid's friends got an iPod Touch over the holidays, then you're not alone! The Touch does have a lot of great, kid-friendly features, but there are others that , with just a couple of innocent swipes, can cause more harm that good.
Luckily, the iPod Touch has settings and restrictions to help you make it safer for your kids....
For example: The iPod Touch comes with Safari and YouTube, access to iTunes, the App Store, Facetime, and a camera....All great for you, but not so great for free access by kids.
But, you can set restrictions on pretty much everything by doing the following:
1. Go to Settings
2. Click on General
3. Click on Restrictions
4. Enable restrictions
5. Turn "off" what you don't want your kids to have access to, (Safari, Camera, Facetime, iTunes, Installing/Deleting Apps, etc
Read lots of other step-by-step instructions to "kid-ify" that iPod Touch. (Cool Mom Tech)
